The “Women Empowerment Program” at Roi Charity is a comprehensive initiative designed to uplift and support women, particularly those facing vulnerabilities such as disabilities, young motherhood, or past traumas. This program offers a range of services aimed at fostering economic independence, emotional resilience, and social inclusion.

Our Objectives

Skill Development:

Equip women with marketable skills to foster economic independence.

Community Empowerment:

Create cycles of empowerment where beneficiaries become mentors for others in need.

Holistic Support:

Address social, emotional, and economic barriers that prevent women from reaching their goals.

Inclusive Restoration:

Provide women with physical, emotional, and social support through integrated services such as mental health care and trauma recovery.

Key Programs

Empowering Young Mothers Through Tailoring
Led by Lydia Nakato Achen, this program trains young mothers in tailoring, enabling them to make garments like school uniforms and become future trainers.

Health and Well-being Support
Focuses on maternal health education, nutrition support, and medical services to improve overall well-being.

Business Incubation and Financial Literacy
Women receive training in budgeting, financial planning, and entrepreneurship to help them establish and manage sustainable businesses.

Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS)
Offers counseling, peer support groups, and mental health services to help women overcome trauma and build resilience.

Disability Inclusion and Support
Provides vocational training, assistive devices, and advocacy to ensure women with disabilities have equal opportunities.
