Mr. Kiige Samuel serves as the Acting Secretary of Roi Charity Organization. In this role, he plays a vital part in ensuring the organization operates smoothly by maintaining governance standards, facilitating effective communication, and safeguarding critical documentation. With his expertise in administration and strong commitment to the organization’s mission, Mr. Kiige supports the leadership team and contributes significantly to the success of Roi Charity’s initiatives.
1. Administrative Management
- Preparing agendas for meetings and distributing them to the relevant members.
- Recording and maintaining minutes of board, committee, and annual general meetings.
- Overseeing the implementation of decisions made during meetings.
2. Communication and Liaison
- Acting as the primary point of contact between the board, management, and external stakeholders.
- Disseminating important organizational updates to staff, donors, and partners.
- Ensuring effective communication within and outside the organization.
3. Record-Keeping and Documentation
- Maintaining secure and organized records of the organization’s legal documents, policies, and correspondence.
- Storing financial reports, donor information, and compliance documents.
- Keeping track of the organization’s bylaws, constitution, and amendments.
4. Governance and Compliance
- Supporting the board and chairperson in ensuring that the organization follows its constitution and complies with applicable laws.
- Coordinating the preparation and filing of statutory documents, such as annual returns and financial audits.
- Ensuring alignment of activities with the organization’s mission, vision, and goals.
5. Event Coordination
- Organizing and managing board meetings, annual general meetings, and stakeholder engagements.
- Providing logistical support for key organizational events, ensuring all details are handled efficiently.
6. Strategic Support
- Advising the leadership on governance-related matters to ensure the organization operates effectively and ethically.
- Assisting with the formulation and implementation of strategic initiatives.
7. Monitoring Policies and Procedures
- Ensuring policies such as child protection, financial transparency, and conflict of interest are adhered to by all stakeholders.
- Periodically reviewing policies to maintain their relevance and effectiveness.
8. Reporting
- Preparing comprehensive reports on governance, compliance, and administrative matters for the board and other stakeholders.
- Consolidating input from various departments to provide accurate organizational updates.
